When entered, it will show up a page where you will see a “Force Dark Mode for Web Contents” flag with a drop-down list that says Default. From the options, click on “Enabled”. There are few other options that you can try out and choose the one that suits your aesthetics.

If you think that this forced dark mode is not a good solution for you, can can disable it by following the same process and choosing “Disabled”. This will revert your browser to the normal color scheme without a dark mode.

Forced IE-to-Edge behavior enabled for only 1,156 websites. At the core of this new feature is a new DLL file that Microsoft has been silently adding inside Edge installations over the summer.

Microsoft Edge Problems

Pushing
  • Microsoft will forcibly open some websites in Edge instead of Internet Explorer Big changes are coming to Internet Explorer. Starting next month, users trying to access certain websites will see IE.
  • With Edge, Microsoft switched to a browser that uses a Hub to store much of your web information. Navigate to the taskbar, and click on the Hub button sporting part of a star and three lines.
  • Recently, the company forced the new Chromium Microsoft Edge onto everyone's PCs. This is because Microsoft wants to kill off both Internet Explorer and Edge's legacy version, as they were far less secure. Of course, this stance does feel like Microsoft believes it knows your interests and needs better than you do.
  • In Microsoft Edge version 89, node screenshots are more accurate, capturing the full node even if content from the node is not visible in the viewport. In the Elements tool, hover on an element, open the contextual menu (right-click), and choose Capture node screenshot.

Currently, the feature is available on Edge Canary version 80.0.318.0 and it should be making its way to the Dev branch and Beta branch of Edge pretty soon.
