We’re excited to announce that our Sophos Community website has been upgraded to bring improved navigation, new features, and more to enhance your Community experience.

Overview Application control enables administrators to block certain legitimate applications from running on work computers. How to get started

SophosID is required to contribute on the Sophos Community. If you do not have a SophosID yet, registration is quick and easy. Please visit the Sophos Community: SophosID registration page for more info.

Create an SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c community by adding an SNMP manager and allow the traffic.

  • Configure Sophos Firewall as an SNMP agent if you haven't already done it.
  • Configure SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c managers.
  • Allow SNMP traffic for the zone to which SNMP managers belong.
  • Allow Sophos Firewall to send SNMP alerts.

Configure Sophos Firewall as an SNMP agent

Community Sophos Vpn

Allow Sophos Firewall to act as an SNMP agent. It uses the standard ports used by SNMP agents and users or managers.

Community Sophos Xg

  1. Go to Administration > SNMP.
  2. Select Enable SNMP agent.
  3. Enter the Location and Contact person.
  4. Click Apply.
