New features in version 3.0.6:
URL Manager Pro 3.0.6 is now aware of the so-called Toolbar Bookmarks or Toolbar Favorites whenexporting and importing bookmarks to and from web browsers. This means that when you, for example,Import your Safari bookmarks into URL Manager Pro and then export them again to Explorer, yourToolbar Bookmarks will be shown in Explorer as Toolbar Favorites.
URL Manager Pro 3.0.6 lets you export your bookmarks to XML XBEL bookmarks format. The command Filemenu Grab All command is now supported for Safari, letting you grab all URLs on a Safari web page.
Important bug fix in version 3.0.6:
URL Manager Pro 3.0.6 fixes a memory leak related to the new 'global bookmarks menu' ofversion URL Manager Pro 3.0.5.
New features in version 3.0.5:
URL Manager Pro 3.0.5 adds a global bookmarks icon menu in the upper right corner of the Mac OS Xmenu bar in ANY application, while URL Manager Pro is running and a bookmark file is open.In the screenshot below, you can see the green bookmark document icon and its associatedbookmarks menu. Use the Add Bookmark command to bookmark the current web page.
Secondly, URL Manager Pro now supports Linux bookmark files. URL Manager Pro supports reading theXML Bookmark Exchange Language (XBEL).Just choose File Open in URL Manager Pro to import these files.These files should have an .xml or .xbel file extension.
Thirdly, Shared Menus now support color labels, reflecting the color label of the bookmark.

- Fixes an annoying effect where the font size of bookmark names would switch to a smaller sizewhen you would inline edit it.
- Fixes a crash on Mac OS 9.1 with CarbonLib 1.4 or lower.
- Added support for Apple Mail. You can now choose the command Email Bookmark from the Contextual Menu.
New features in version 3.0.1:
- You can specify your preferred screen font and size for your bookmark windows
- While you move over the note icons of bookmarks, your note text is displayed in a help tag (see screenshot above)
- Your shared bookmarks menu items show the URL of the bookmark in a handy help tag while you pass over them (Mac OS X only)
- The Cabinet and the Read Daily command where added to the Mac OS X Dock menu
- Supports the Mac OS X Services menu (choose Add Bookmark in Apple Mail, for example)
- Added support for Chimera. Chimera does not support Shared Menus yet, but you canaccess and launch your bookmarks by control-clicking the URL Manager Pro icon in the Mac OS X Dock
- The Add Bookmark window lets you specify the destination folder of your new bookmark

What's new in 3.0
URL Manager Pro runs native on Mac OS X. It also runs on Mac OS 9.0 and higher with CarbonLib 1.1.
In particular, the Shared Menus feature has been rewritten from the ground up to support Mac OS X.Shared Menus have been rewritten resulting in increased performance, usability and stability.
Main new features:
- Mac OS X : Mac OS X native: uses sheets, anti-aliased text, and is bundled
- Dock Menus : You have access to all your bookmarks via the Dock (use Control-Click on the URL Manager Pro icon)
- Global Hot Key : You can use a hot key to cycle through your bookmark documents, Shared Menus and Dock menus
- File Recent menu : A new sub menu in the File menu lists the last 10 documents you opened
- OmniWeb : Support for import and export of OmniWeb's bookmarks
- Opera : Support for Opera. Opera supports Shared Menus.
- Help Book : Use the command from the Help menu to read the new User's Guides
- Mac OS X Extras : Mac OS X menu extra (Mondriaan) and CMM Plug-in Add Bookmark
- Localized : Localized in Japanese, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
Note: moving to Mac OS X, the locations of your 'Startup Items' and 'Cabinet' folders have changed.Although the old locations still work, it is now advised you create a folder named 'Bookmarks' inyour 'Documents' folder and put your 'Startup Items' and 'Cabinet' folders in your 'Bookmarks' folderof your 'Documents' folder. You may also use the new preference Select Startup Bookmark file.

Bookmark Contextual Menu
Use Control-Click on a bookmark or folder icon to get the Bookmark Popup Menu.This popup menu is a real Contextual Menu under Mac OS 8.See the screenshot below for an overview of all the commands.
The Sort Bookmarks sorts the selection ofbookmarks.
The Mail Bookmark To command creates a newmessage window in your E-Mail application and copies the URL of the bookmark tothe message window.
The Mail Document To command creates a new messagewindow and attaches the current URL Manager bookmark file as a file attachment.When you have the StuffIt Engine in your Extensions Folder, URL Manager willautomatically compress the file!

Kaleidoscope

Changes have been made to support the Mac OS 8 look and feel. This includes agrayish look for user dialogs and making use of the new Mac OS 8 progress bars.
